Bet Over, Work Continues...

Posted by BrainToast - February 26th, 2009

As I just got my laptop back (part of a bet to go from Sunday-Today w/out usage) and am continuing the work on ChestWood Hood. During the storyboarding in the past 4 or 5 days, I've not only finished the storyboard for the supposedly 30 sec. trailer, but also drew vehicles. They do actually look a bit well. I probably take a picture of 'em and show them right here for you to look at soon. I'm not sure about it yet though. However, I can tell you the names of the already drawn vehicles. There are only 20 and they don't even include boats or air-vehicles. Now, you may also notice that there are vehicles I've announced but haven't drawn so I didn't have them written down here. Well, here we go:
*Sunrise
*Motorbike
*Viesel
*Moitza
*Conjunker
*Turismo
*Banshee
*Sabre
*Tow-Truck
*Conzuer
*Convey
*Viesel GT
*BIF Convey
*BIF Convey GT
*Bikers in Disguise (BID) Truck (holds BID bikes)
*BID Motorbike (Bikers in Disguise's motorbike was originally drawn in black)
*??? (ChestWood Hood Stories Vehicle)
*??? (ChestWood Hood Stories Vehicle)
*??? (ChestWood Hood Stories Vehicle)
*??? (End of the game Unlockable)

BIF are my version of the FBI. It doesn't stand for anything, it just sounds cool. Along with that, I said that BID was a biker gang called Bikers in Disguise. The Bikers in Disguise will not have any characters you'll play as in ChestWood Hood Stories so don't be stupid. I've chosen the character for ChestWood Hood Stories but that's all I'm doing for CW Hood Stories (or CWS). The character is Derek Anders. I will say that you will sometimes see this character walking the streets in ChestWood Hood and ChestWood Hood 2.

GRAND THEFT AUTO: CHINATOWN WARS
GTA Chinatown Wars now has not only it's official site, but it's official trailer, some characters, and on IGN you can find a special trailer that includes gameplay of Hotwiring the car and gameplay that finally catches people into the wait for Chinatown Wars which is only 19 days away in US (18 days for pre-orders in US). IMPORTANT: Even if I did pre-order the game at GameStop, I wouldn't want to cheat and get all that money and some weapons. Only cheaters would do that, although, when I finish the game, I'll use the code from somebody from YouTube to get the code for starting a new game (this'll probably never happen since the game is awesome). Since the game will be really, really awesome, anybody in my school who asks to borrow the game for their Nintendo DS, will see me get a piece of paper and write 'NO' in big fact letters. Days Away, Days away to the most-anticipated Nintendo DS game yet. Only days away. To me, the next week will be over really fast because I have no homework, my laptop back, and time has been going really fast since I heard about Chinatown Wars being so awesome (Late January when I read Kikizo's December 2008 hands-on). That is when I just had to get this game. Now with the gameplay trailers (3) and screenshots from R* Games' site, I'm ready to be a gamer who will never stop playing my DS. I will be coming back to ChestWood Hood for at least 2 hours a day though so don't start wondering about a delay for ChestWood Hood. It will be coming in November 2009, and I will be getting Chinatown Wars March 17th, 2009 (or March 16th, 2009 since I pre-ordered the game extra early say about January 25th, two days before my B-Day).
